Unified Activities

The Unified Club provides the Grizzlies with an opportunity to meet with friends during school hours. During our time together, we will improve our social skills through games and activities. The Unified Club will meet during the school day.

Unified Bowling is LSB’s Unified Sports opportunity during the fall. We practice and have our meets at Parkway Lanes and Sun Valley Lanes. You are divided into teams of 5 and work together to achieve a combined score. All the Grizzlies will ride together on the school bus to and from the bowling alley for practices and meets. Parents and friends are encouraged to cheer on the Grizzlies during our Bowling meets.

Unifed Track & Field is LSB’s Sports opportunity during the spring. Our program offers the 100-meter dash, 4 by 100 relay, shot put, and long jump. Our season takes place after Spring Break. All of our practices take place at school, and then we have 3-4 meets at different high schools. All team members will ride on the bus to and from our meets.

Unified Music is a class offered at LSB. It is a great way to spend time with your friends while also participating in Music Activities. This class provides quarterly Unified Music Concerts for families and friends. If you are interested, contact your counselor.

Unified PE is a class offered at LSB. It is a great way to spend time with your friends while also participating in fun activities. If you are interested, reach out to your counselor or Heather Leader (hnichol@lps.org).

The Unified Book Club is offered at LSB during the school day. It is a great way for Grizzlies to improve their reading skills and interests while spending time with their friends. Grizzlies go to the library or classroom for fun activities, storytelling, and strengthening friendships.

This class offers Grizzlies an opportunity to work collaboratively on art projects, focusing on building social connections, shared experiences, and mutual understanding alongside artistic development. Unified Art is offered during the school day.

This class offers Grizzlies a culinary class with integrated instruction across a broad spectrum of culinary arts, blending foundational skills like kitchen safety, sanitation, nutrition, recipe development, and teamwork. The class is offered during the school day.

The Inclusive Yearbook is a club offered during school hours at LSB. Grizzlies work with friends to create pages to develop an inclusive yearbook. Parents and students have the opportunity to purchase the inclusive yearbook at the end of the school year.

The Unified Walking Club is a great opportunity to develop healthy habits through walking. Grizzlies will record their steps throughout the school. LSB offers several walking trails where Grizzlies can improve their social skills while walking.
